We also believe that good home interior design is collaborative and stems from easy and open communication between the designer and clients. As a result, the studio is able to design for all the unique aspects of a family’s or individual’s lifestyle. We try and ensure that we have thought through every aspect of your requirement from the home… starting with the side of the bed you sleep on to the way you want to feel when you step into your home after a long day of work.
Our clients come from various backgrounds but have one thing in common – they desire a beautiful life and a beautiful home is a part of it. Priyanka
October Designs was started by Priyanka who is an architect by education and exposure. After a diverse professional stint across the globe, she settled in Bangalore, India in 2017. Here she worked for a large growing residential design organization to help get integrated back into the Indian market and design scene. In 2019 she put down the roots for October Designs.
Growing up in a colonial-style home in the charming city of Lucknow, to a family of builders, she was surrounded by eclectic architecture, and building materials, helping instil an appreciation for architecture and interior design.
She continues to take this enthusiasm forward while deriving inspiration from different design styles. Her natural interior design style is minimal, although paradoxically she also delves into chaotic country styles.
In her spare time, Priyanka likes to cook, go for long walks while listening to her favorite Podcasts, and travel.
Aabira
An architect with a passion for pragmatic design and a dry sense of humour! Aabira has an eye for detail and is hyper-organised. This lends beautifully to the design process at October.
In her spare time, Aabira likes to read and spend time with her family. She dreams of traveling to Norway to see the Northern Lights, Ladakh, and Darjeeling.
Rakshith
A civil engineer turned designer, Rakshith brings calmness and stability to the design studio. He likes minimal and functional designs which are rooted in practical execution.
In his spare time, Rakshith loves to play Cricket and Chess. He dreams of traveling to New York City to feel her vibrant energy, and Ladakh.
